Echologic 3.5" Portable Digital Photo Frame
- How to copy photos to your frame's internal memory via your PC
Follow these steps to copy photos from your computer to your Echologic 3.5" portable digital photo frame.
1) Download the Nor Flash Tool and install the program.
2) Connect your Echologic 3.5" portable digital photo frame to your computer via the USB cable provided. For best results, connect to a USB port on the back of your computer (if available).
3) Depending on your operating system you may get a message like this, or similar. If you do, click cancel.
4) On your digital photo frame keep pressing the power/back button until you see the select card screen.
5) Hold down the middle menu/enter button until the green menu appears.
6) Select the Connect PC... option by using the left/right keys and the enter key. The photo frame screen should change to "PC connection established. Key is temporarily inoperative!"
7) Start the Nor Flash Tool program you installed earlier.
8) In the top right hand corner, select the drop down "Devices List". There should be only one option which will be your photo frame drive. It will look something like this:
If no options appear in the dropdown list there is something wrong with the connection to your computer. Ensure the frame is powered on, connected via the USB cable and you have selected the Connect to PC option in the photo frames menu. If this still doesn't work, try connecting the frame to a different USB port.
9) Click on the "Load from DPF" button. This will show all the photos currently stored on the photo frames internal memory. If you have no photos on your internal memory, no photos will appear.
10) Click on the "Add image" button and select one or more of the photos you wish to add to your digital photo frame's internal memory. Press "Open".
11) Reorder the files as you wish by dragging the images around the screen.
12) When you have completed your selection, click "Write to DPF" to save your changes and copy the new files to your Echologic 3.5" Digital Photo Frame.
13) Unplug the frame from the computer. The frame will automatically turn off. Restart the frame and your new photos will now be on your portable photo's frame internal memory.
Please Note: The internal memory on your Echologic 3.5" Portable Digital Photo Frame is only 1.5 megabytes, which is suitable to hold around 20-30 photos. If you wish to hold hundreds or thousands of photos we recommend investing in an SD or MMC memory card. To copy photos from your computer to an SD/MMC card simply connect your photo frame to your PC with the SD/MMC card inserted, select the "Connect to PC" option, you will be then able to access the SD/MMC card through your file browser and copy your photos to it.
