Quality photos frames: How to tell?

Display Resolution?

You may already know that digital photos are comprised of thousands of individual dots. What you may not know is that the number of dots your Digital Photo Frame can display greatly effects the quality of your pictures.

Our Echologic frames use high quality display panels, with up to 786,432 individual dots on our 15" model and 480,000 on our 8" frames!

A high number of competitor display panels within the market use only 112,320 individual pixels!

Depending on which Echologic frame you purchase, up to seven more dots may be visible on the screen!

The key to finding out if you have a high quality screen is to compare the resolution. Click on the link below to see the difference in image quality between an 800x600 image and a 480x234 image both scaled at the same viewing size.

Viewing Angle?

Low quality panels must be looked at front-on. Angled viewing may alter colour quality and brightness. Thus, Echologic Digital Picture Frames are designed with a very wide viewing angle to counteract this problem.

Rest assured that everyone can admire your photos despite positioning of your Echologic Frame.

Internal Memory?

Almost all Echologic Frames have built-in photo storage. You can directly copy photos from your digital cameras memory card onto the frame. You are then free to return your card to your camera ready for the next memorable moment.

The Echologic Frames can also be plugged directly to a computer to copy stored files to the internal memory.

Our smaller frames can store over 500 photos on its internal memory! (when sized at the frames maximum display resolution). Some of our larger frames have double the internal memory of our smaller frames.

Support?

Echologic is an Australian Owned and operated brand. All our frames come with a one year warranty, we also offer a national 1300 support number manned by support personnel in Australia (1300 477 733).
